INTERN POSITION AT IPS AFRICA
Wow this sounds like a cool job if you want to showcase your multimedia skills.
Inter Press Service (IPS) Africa is offering a multimedia internship for post-graduate students in Johannesburg, South Africa from December 1.The intern will work closely with online and radio thematic editors to bring to life a range of stories from the African continent on multimedia platforms. We’re looking for young reporters with:
- An interest in telling untold stories focusing on development on the continent; - An interest in using social networks to increase coverage of development journalism;
- Basic Radio skills;
- Attention to detail and accuracy;
- Good basic research skills;
- Interest and/or experience in multimedia;
- Ability to work within in a team;
- Travel in Africa may be required. Interested candidates should send a covering letter outlining why they wish to complete an internship at IPS Africa, as well as a CV, to trafemoyo@ips.org, by November 13, 2009.
